Telephone Entry System Update 2

This morning we switched to the second relay. Everything seems to be working, but only time will tell for sure.

You'll need to press 5 (or 55 on a cellphone) to open the gate when someone calls you from the intercom to trigger the second relay.

Telephone Entry System Update

The telephone entry system is still acting up. If your personal entry code is not opening the gate, wait at least 30 seconds and try again.

We're working with the Gate maintenance company to diagnose the problem. We think the first relay has gone bad, and will be patching in the second relay tomorrow.

Telephone Entry System Notice

The telephone entry system is broken and currently not able to open the gate at this time. You can still call your party, but they will need to manually open the gate for you.

Personal entry codes are not functional either.

Remote gate openers are not affected.

Update: Water Restriction Advisory

From Vicki Thauvin on FaceBook:
“I called the Everett Water Dept. they said what happened was a fire hydrant was flushed too quickly. This stirred up the sediment in the pipe. The Water Dept. needed to completely flush the line (which should have been done about 5:30 pm). If you turn on your water and it is a little dirty, turn off the faucet. Go to your bathtub and turn on the cold water. Let the tub water run for about 15-20 minutes. The water should be clear by then."

Alert: Water Restriction Advisory

Reports of discolored water in Casino Road area

There is an upset in the use of our water system around the Casino Road area. This has resulted in an increased turbidity in this area. We recommend that you not use your water for up to one hour.
When you do use your water, run it until it becomes clear. We are currently checking water quality and taking measures to flush the turbid waters out of our system. We recommend flushing the water into a bathtub. If you are seeing discolored water, we also recommend that you do not do laundry or wash dishes at this time.

This is not related to lead in the water. If you have questions, please contact Public Works at 425-257-8821.

In order to prevent further rot, we are digging trenches and adding new gutter overflow piping all around building 3. The trenches will be backfilled with pebble rocks when done.
